Understand GiDocWhat is a workspace?
The governed room where a team's documents live — and why membership is the access control.
A workspace is a governed content area for one team, department or matter. It has its own members, its own policies, its own document models and its own audit trail.
Access is decided by membership: if you are a member, the workspace's policy says exactly what you can do — upload, share, declare records. If you are not, the workspace simply doesn't exist for you. There are no accidental "everyone" folders.
Owners see a health view of their workspace: how many documents, what's unclassified, who has access, and every governance event that happened inside it.
