Classification & Models

Typed document models turn files into governed records — dates that are dates, amounts that are numbers, lists that only accept known values.

A document model is a contract: which fields a document of this type must carry, which values are legal, and what retention applies. Classification is the moment a file signs that contract.

Because the fields are typed, everything downstream gets stronger — search filters on real dates and amounts, workflows route on real values, and records retention starts from real anchors.

What you get
Typed fields — dates, amounts, choice lists — validated at the door, not cleaned up later
Required metadata gates: a document can't become a record with blanks
Models carry routing and retention, so classification sets governance in motion
AI model detection — the right document model suggested automatically from the file's content
